What does the ratchet do?
The ratchet mechanism allows staged operation rather than only the normal open-and-close action. Follow the supplied instructions for selecting and releasing the mode.
Can I use it like normal pliers?
Yes. The tool has a normal operating mode as well as a ratcheting mode.
Can it cut every wire or nail?
No universal cutting capacity is claimed. Material hardness and diameter matter. Check the manufacturer instructions for the workpiece you want to cut.
Is it insulated for live electrical work?
No electrical insulation rating has been verified. Do not use it on energized circuits.
